Get to know me…
Being a military spouse of 15 years, I’ve had to relocate and restart several times. My job, my house, my community… all new with each move.
In the beginning, working “virtually” didn’t exist… which led me to a very peppered resume.
Within each company I’ve worked with, I’ve worn multiple hats. Gaining experience along the way in so many operational roles, I’ve come to appreciate the importance of a strong team and training process.
Finally, learning to support my teams virtually, I am a strong believer at having the correct project management system and communication channels in place.
Originally from a small town near Detroit, Michigan, I grew up knowing I wanted to live a little bit of everywhere. I was lucky enough to have a family that prioritized traveling, and I was able to see a lot of the world before graduating high school.
I initially moved across the country to attend College at FIDM in California where I graduated with my Associates in Merchandise Marketing. After transferring to and later graduating from AIU with my Bachelors in Fashion Marketing, I headed north to Washington State to get married. Little did I know what my husband’s career would add to my wish for a nomadic life...
Within 10 years we moved from Washington to Florida, to Oklahoma, to New York, to North Carolina, to Georgia, and finally back to Michigan. We're now happily living near where I grew up, getting to spend time with extended family and showing my kiddo the same places I enjoyed in my childhood.
In 2021, I started Jackie Bajuk Virtual Operations, LLC.
After a mentorship with Kelly Fridline, and working operations for Presentation by Design (formerly The Virtual Design Mentor) I saw an opportunity to use my gifts and experience in this beautiful industry.
With the help of forums and social groups, I started to network Interior Designers with virtual Industry Partners such as myself, who work behind the scenes and grow the business of Interior Design. This helped build my rolodex of service providers to help assist interior designers along side of me, without having to build a team to manage. This allows me to give my clients my full attention while referring subject matter experts to fulfill their greatest needs.
I’m excited to see what’s next!
